What P-Thing users are saying:
. . .it did work and everything made it safely into the toilet. Since it goes down the funnel, there is a slight delay between the time you are going and the time that it lands in the toilet. Keep that in mind when you are removing the cup! You want to make sure all of the contents are empty before removing it or else you might wind up with wet pants. . .
. . .I think this is a great idea to have in a pinch and perfect for long road trips. I’m going to keep it stashed in my glove box for an emergency.
The P-thing is a soft, silicone structure and completely flexible making it easy to place between my legs. The instructions said to try it in the bathtub but I kept forgetting and then I needed to use it for real.
It was pretty weird to pee standing up, but also quite liberating. Finally! No more squatting, hoovering, or lining the seat with tp. The p-thing actually looked dry after I used it. The silicone shed the pee quite well. This is a very interesting little device and while I wouldn’t just randomly tell people how cool it is, I do recommend it.
This is wonderful! No learning curve – except to get your bladder to release while standing; that was a very unnatural feeling for me. The device is soft, you can bend it scrunch it- and it goes right back to it’s original shape.
Sooooo…..As wacky as it sounds I just tried this awesome P-THING! It is pretty awesome! This is great for traveling, and any other activities where you will be outside for a long period of time.
It only takes using a few times to really get the hang of it. They recommend that you “practice” using it while standing in the bathtub or shower but I didn’t want to do that but since we live way out in the country, I just “practiced” outside and figured out the proper technique right away. It really does work and can be washed properly afterwards without hurting the device at all. .
I have been wanting one of these since I found out about them, I might just put it in my purse so that I can stop toilet papering seats in my efforts not to hover like a UFO. . .
This device really comes in handy when camping or road tripping for sure.
The first time I heard of one of these was when my sister told me one of these devices was on her wish list. When I asked why, she said when they go camping if there is not a public restroom, she does NOT want to squat!! In any situation where bathrooms might not be available, this is a lifesaver.
I bet she secretly keeps hers in her purse and uses it in public restrooms because she has a fear of sitting on public restroom toilets. Heck, you could even use a urinal! . . .
“Peeing made simple!” This gadget is uniquely made and simple to use. It has definitely made life easier when faced with filthy restrooms, etc.
This is a great idea and product! I work on a ranch and farm, and most days are not near the home to use the bathroom. So either you hold it or you have to go prairie pee.
I got this for when we go camping and there’s no bathrooms close by. This is way easier than squatting!
I am very happy with this device. I go on the road with my husband a lot as he drives a semi across country.
This is really useful for all those situations as a woman you’d rather not sit down to go to the bathroom.
